Patchwork Post

In Patchwork Post, Simone Post applies a variety of techniques and uses all kinds of fabrics that she collected throughout her career. In her design, she incorporated several masterpieces from the collection of the Centraal Museum. She gave them new meaning through patchwork patterns composed of different pieces of fabric. The seating piece in the center of the space refers to the medieval ship displayed in the museum’s basement level. In this way, the installation offers an impression of the museum’s rich and diverse collection.
