Venture Beyond for Hermès

“From February until May, the first chapter of Hermès’ 2026 theme “Venture Beyond” is celebrated through artist Simone Post’s creative power, travelling over narratives and dimensions. A journey filled with a landscape of imaginative discoveries, kaleidoscopic hues, towards an open horizon and beyond.

The installation unfolds into three unique sceneries, narrating our inner child walking inside a world taken by the sea breeze, turning into waves, rocks, trees. Visitors are welcomed to join, as ladders vines upwards to the top and the scene curls down into the shape of a slow discovery. If in one window we see a dreamscape where a little hut slides into an ocean, in the other a lush foliage fills the scene, as a towering willow tree emerges. As visitors embark into the “Venture Beyond” journey, interwoven in the nest of the blooming textiles we see the Sautoir Chaine d’ancre Alea II necklace. And the Kelly Hobo Mini bag in the most vivid color purple. Waiting to be discovered as we float around.

Crafted entirely from upcycled textile, Simone Post’s enchanting landscapes draw an infinite story of painterly surfaces. Sorted by color, cut and pleated, the textile is then coiled, allowing shapes and colors to find space within, playing with perception and scale. Based in Rotterdam, the Dutch artist‘s work travels beyond dimension and frames.
